Recycled Aggregates can be sourced from a variety of materials and projects that meet the strict criteria laid down by the EEC, such as, construction and demolition (concrete, bricks, tiles), highway maintenance (asphalt plainings ), excavation and utility operations.
As well as the actual recycling, the company always endeavours to source, treat and then move the materials as short a distance as possible. Thus keeping movement costs down, at the main recycling site, HJ Bennett's own (recycled) processing plant is used to qualify, separate, grade and manage the necessary procedures in order to fully meet the EEC guidelines.
