First life aggregates are acquired by HJ Bennett through us dredging the harbour at Bembridge, this is an essential job as it keeps the harbour free giving the assurance that sea traffic can use the channel without the risk of running aground.

Keeping the harbour free also helps with the environment, sealife, surrounding wildlife and the conservation of the area around the harbour.

With the new access to the Chiverton Quarry West of Newport a further set of first life aggregates have come on stream including a full range of chalk 3mm - 50mm, 50mm-100mm and 100mm to 150mm for general fill, plus gravel hogging for use on roadways, patios etc.
